PROJECT ERGON: EXPERIENTIAL WORKSHOPS FOR THE EMPOWERMENT OF UNEMPLOYED BY THE CARITAS ATHENS HELP CENTER IN COOPERATION WITH RED TREE

Considering that unemployment, for those who experience it, can be a new relationship with life, the Help Center of Caritas Athens organizes free experiential workshops titled “Are You Unemployed? Make a New Start!”, in collaboration with the consulting company RED TREE, from September 28 to November 23!

People unemployed or affected by the state of non-employment and committed to participating in Project Ergon Laboratories can be helped to overcome the difficulties they face in unemployment and / or work. Through group activity (discussion, play, movement), the internal resources that they all have are activated to increase their strength and self-confidence to search for work and joy in life.

Work is a gift of life: it brings creativity, socialization and independence.

On the contrary, unemployment is a crisis of life: personal, social and economic.

However, sometimes work ends up routine, isolated and oppressed. Sometimes, unemployment is an opportunity to revise our relationship with life.

These experiential workshops explore the great contradictions of life such as:

-Procrastination (Mobilization)

-Failure (Success)

-Insecurity (Security)

-Stiffness (Flexibility)

-Liability & Limits

The workshops, which will take place at the Help Center of Caritas Athens (8, Emmanuel Benaki str., 4th floor), has been established for the dates:

Friday, September 28th, 10:30 – 13:30

Friday, October 12th, 10:30 – 13:30
