New Year’s pie cutting at the Timios Stavros Elderly Care Unit

 

On Friday, January 13, 2023, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, representatives of Caritas Athens and the parish of St. John in Psychiko, paid their traditional visit to Timios Stavros Care Unit, to cut the New Year's cake for the Elderly people of our Archdiocese.

Given that the visits could not take place due to the state's pandemic prohibitions in the past two years, inmates, managers, staff, and visitors shared great joy for this meeting.

Francesco, a musician beloved by all, spread pleasant moments with his accordion and songs to everyone, but especially to the elderly ladies. The applause was reflected in the warm enthusiasm shared by everyone but also in the songs and dance of the most daring ones!!!!!!!

This beautiful celebration, which was also supported through the REMAP project, was completed with the exchange of the necessary wishes for the New Year, but also with the promise that it will be repeated soon.
