Saturday, May 20 - 45th Anniversary of Caritas Athens

On Saturday, May 20, as part of the implementation of the REMAP * program, which is financed by Caritas Hellas and supported by the National Caritas of Spain and Italy, the "45th Anniversary of Caritas Athens - Voluntary Action" was held at the wonderful Kalamaki Beach Hotel in Corinth.

The event was crowned with great success and the participation of 60 members and friends of Caritas Athens, from all the parishes of the Holy Catholic Archdiocese of Athens. The attendees had the opportunity to learn about topics such as the Social Teaching of the Catholic Church, the work of Caritas Athens, gender-based violence and volunteering, which through personal testimonials helped all participants to discuss and get to know each other better.

The day was accompanied by delicious food as well as a dip in the sea for some of our more daring guests.

Among others, the Most Reverend Catholic Archbishop of Athens Theodoros Kodidis,  the members of the Board of Directors, representatives of the Caritas parish, volunteers, the Executive Οperations Director, Caritas Athens employees as well as many friends and supporters of the Organization attended.
