CARITAS ATHENS ANNUAL EVENT 2018
Caritas Athens’ annual event marked a huge success on Sunday, February 11th at the NARKISSOS HALL in Maroussi and was attended by 150 members and friends of the organization, from all parishes of the Athens’ Holy Catholic Archdiocese!
Attendees enjoyed a unique music performance with tunes and songs for all tastes, led by our beloved performers George Gerolymatos and Teris Ieremias, co-creator of the famous Greek band “The Charms”, uplifting their older and younger fans who danced till late in the afternoon!
On the menu, other than cheerfulness, music, and dancing, included a delicious meal, as well as a lot of special gifts from the lottery, which sold out all tickets!
The event was joined by the members of the Administration Board Ms. Helen Carabott (who held a short welcoming speech) and Mr. Manolis Sigalas, the vicar of the parish of Saint John the Baptist, f. Alberto Petroff Paima, the former member of the Administration Board, Ms. Maria Milliari, the Director of the Retiring House “The Good Samaritan”, Mr. Nikos Dassyras, Caritas Athens’ employees Mses. Efi Zaloni, Dimitra Katergari, and Marie-Christine Provelengiou, as well as many volunteers, friends, and supporters of the Organization.
