Caritas Athens at the Presentation of the CLDRR Program in Northern Evia

 

On Friday, September 19, Caritas Athens participated in the presentation of the results of the first pilot program on Community-Led Disaster Risk Reduction (CLDRR), implemented by Caritas Hellas in cooperation with Caritas Athens in Northern Evia.

The President of Caritas Athens, Mr. Filippos Salimpas, delivered a greeting at the event, which was attended by representatives of Civil Protection, scientists, volunteers, and Civil Society organizations.

Together, they exchanged experiences and ideas on the importance of empowering local communities to prevent and reduce risks from natural disasters.

Our participation in such initiatives strengthens collaboration and reaffirms our commitment to supporting communities, protecting human life, and building more resilient societies.
