Carnival Celebration at the "Good Samaritan" Nursing Home

In a festive atmosphere filled with joy, live music, singing, dancing, delicious treats, sweets and soft drinks the annual Carnival celebration organized by Caritas Athens took place on Tuesday, February 25th, at the "Good Samaritan" Nursing Home in Pefki.

 

The large dining hall of the institution, decorated for the occasion, was transformed into a space of joy and entertainment, where more than 40 elderly residents enjoyed the karaoke programme prepared by Fr. Georgios Dagas. The music kept the attendees engaged for two and a half hours, offering them moments of laugh and fun! Many ladies participated actively, dancing and singing, proving once again that vitality and energy have no age!

The event was attended by the President of the Organization, Mr. Filippos Salimpas, as well as Board members (Secretary Ms. Begona Kalliga and member Fr. Louis Valerio Lemes), as well as Fr. Georgios Dagas.

On the occasion of this celebration, Caritas Athens encourages those who have the time and willingness to spend a few moments with the elderly in the Archdiocese's care facilities, bringing them smiles and warmth!
